NHL Fantasy Week 3 : Wavier Wire Adds

Week 3 Waiver Wire Adds: Ten low rostered players worth targeting right now.

1. Mikael Granlund | F | Anaheim Ducks | 28% Rostered

5 GP | 2 G | 5 A | 7 PTS

Seven points in five games at 28% rostered on a Ducks team built around Leo Carlsson and one of the most dangerous young offences in the Western Conference. Granlund is a seasoned playmaker who knows exactly how to operate in space and gets better when the talent around him improves. Anaheim’s offence is improving. He is available in 72% of leagues. He’s quietly putting up good, consistent points.

The Add List Take: Seven points in five games from a veteran playmaker on a rising offence. Available in nearly three quarters of all leagues. Add him.

2. Taylor Hall | F | Carolina Hurricanes | 23% Rostered

Last 3 GP | 3 G | 2 A | 5 PTS

Five points in his last three games including three goals. Hall has found his footing in Carolina on a Stanley Cup championship roster and the production is starting to reflect it. He has always had the talent. The situation in Carolina is the best of his career. At 23% rostered this is a player producing at nearly a two-point-per-game pace over his last three outings and available in 77% of leagues.

The Add List Take: Three goals and two assists in his last three games on the best team in the league. At 23% rostered this is an oversight worth correcting immediately. This might be the start of a nice run for T Hall.

3. Jackson Blake | F | Carolina Hurricanes | 55% Rostered

Last 5 GP | 1 G | 6 A | 7 PTS

Six assists in five games. Blake is a pure playmaker who has settled into a role in Carolina that suits him perfectly and the assists are coming in volume. He is already 55% rostered which tells you the fantasy community has started to notice but nearly half of all leagues still have him available. He was flagged as a sleeper heading into the season….it’s looking like he’s going to exceed expectations.

The Add List Take: Six assists in five games is elite playmaker production. If he is still on your wire grab him before he is not…his ownership is rising fast.

4. Cole Perfetti | F | Winnipeg Jets | 60% Rostered

5 GP | 3 G | 3 A | 6 PTS

Six points in five games and now 60% rostered after we flagged him in week two. If you missed him then this is your last reasonable window. Three goals and three assists reflects a complete offensive player, not just a power play specialist, and the Jets offence has been more dangerous than expected despite the Hellebuyck chaos. His roster percentage is climbing fast and for good reason…the breakout is here.

The Add List Take: We told you about Perfetti in week two. If you listened you are already winning. If you did not, this is the final warning.

5. Vladislav Gavrikov | D | New York Rangers | 42% Rostered

Last 3 GP | 1 G | 3 A | 4 PTS

Four points in three games for a Rangers defenceman who has stepped into a larger role on pairing with Adam Fox. Gavrikov is a big, physical defenceman who now has expanded ice time on a Rangers team fighting to keep their heads above water without their franchise goaltender. At 42% rostered he is still available in more than half of all leagues.

The Add List Take: Four points in three games with expanded minutes on a motivated, young team. He’s worth a speculative add to see if the offensive uptick can continue…but be ready to pivot off him if he gooses in the coming games.

6. Anders Lee | F | Utah Mammoth | 21% Rostered

6 GP | 2 G | 3 A | 5 PTS

Five points in six games at 21% rostered. Lee signed a three-year deal with Utah this offseason and has settled into a middle-six role and second power play unit on a Mammoth team that is currently first in the Western Conference. Five points in six games from a veteran who knows how to produce in a supporting role on a good team. At 21% rostered the production is not close to being priced in.

The Add List Take: Five points in six games in a middle-six and PP role on the first place team in the West. The production speaks for itself. At 21% rostered this is the sleeper of the week.

7. Jaden Schwartz | F | Colorado Avalanche | 9% Rostered

5 GP | 3 G | 3 A | 6 PTS

Nine percent rostered. Six points in five games. Schwartz is 34 years old and arrived in Colorado from Seattle on a three-year deal this offseason. He’s fully healthy and stepping into a middle-six role on the best offensive team in the NHL. He is on the second power play unit where he is clearly finding his spots and finishing. Three goals and three assists in five games from a veteran on a good team at a deeply discounted roster cost.

The Add List Take: Six points in five games on Colorado’s second power play unit at 9% rostered. He’s never really been know for elite production, but he’s putting up some good numbers early…and if i need offensive help on my fantasy team, he could be a good add if he stays productive. But be ready to pivot.

8. Shane Pinto | F | Ottawa Senators | 15% Rostered

5 GP | 0 G | 4 A | 4 PTS

Four assists in five games from a centre who has settled into a reliable two-way role in on a Senators team that is producing offensively. Pinto is not going to light the scoresheet on fire but he is going to contribute consistently, play meaningful minutes, and give you the kind of steady point production that builds over an 84-game season. At 15% rostered he is a low-cost, low-risk waiver add.

The Add List Take: Consistent, reliable point production in a good offensive situation at 15% rostered. Depth add with real upside if Ottawa’s offence continues to click.

9. Mason McTavish | F | St. Louis Blues | 20% Rostered

5 GP | 2 G | 2 A | 4 PTS

McTavish arrived in St. Louis via trade this offseason and has settled into the top-six on a Blues team that is quietly producing more offensively than anyone anticipated. Four points in five games at 20% rostered reflects a player whose new situation has not yet filtered through fantasy community awareness. He is a power forward with legitimate top-six talent and the role to match.

The Add List Take: Four points in five games in a new situation that suits him perfectly. At 20% rostered he is significantly undervalued for a former top-three pick producing in a featured role.

10. Jared Spurgeon | D | Minnesota Wild | 18% Rostered

5 GP | 1 G | 4 A | 5 PTS

Five points in five games from a veteran defenceman on a Minnesota team that is one of the most complete rosters in the Western Conference. Spurgeon has been doing this quietly for years and 2026-27 is no different. He plays meaningful minutes, contributes on the power play, and accumulates points at a rate that his roster percentage chronically undervalues. At 18% rostered on a Wild team built to compete for the Stanley Cup, he is one of the most reliable low-cost adds of the entire week.

The Add List Take: Five points in five games on a Wild team built to win. Spurgeon has been undervalued in fantasy for his entire career. At 18% rostered nothing has changed. To start the season, he’s on the top pairing while Brock Faber is on the IR and taking full advantage playing with Huggy Bear. He’s hit the score sheet in all 5 games he’s played.
