The weekend is here, and so is your streaming cheat sheet. Here are eight hot players with weekend games, two teams playing back-to-back, and a pair of goalie tandems worth a look.
Forwards
1. Jordan Kyrou | F | Washington Capitals | 38% Rostered
Last 6 GP | 3G | 6A | 9 PTS
Kyrou has nine points in his last six games and gets a home date with Minnesota on Sunday. He’s producing as both a scorer and a setup man right now, which gives him a high floor for a streamer. Plug him in for Sunday.
2. Zach Benson | F | Buffalo Sabres | 37% Rostered
Last 3 GP | 2G | 3A | 5 PTS
The goals have arrived for Benson. After piling up assists earlier this month, he has two goals and five points in his last three games. He visits Los Angeles on Saturday, and as hot as he is, he’s an easy Saturday start.
3. Viktor Arvidsson | F | Detroit Red Wings | 28% Rostered
Last 2 GP | 4G | 2A | 6 PTS
Six points in two games is a heater, plain and simple. Arvidsson has four goals over that span and hosts St. Louis on Saturday. Veterans on runs like this are exactly who you want to stream, so grab him while the puck keeps finding him.
4. Jack Roslovic | F | Toronto Maple Leafs | 55% Rostered
Last 5 GP | 3G | 6A | 9 PTS
Roslovic has nine points in five games and is quietly one of the hottest forwards in the league. Toronto visits Vancouver on Saturday. At 55% rostered, he may already be gone in your league, but if he’s there, he’s one of the safest streams on this list.
Defencemen
5. Jack St. Ivany | D | Washington Capitals | 0% Rostered
Last 2 GP | 0G | 4A | 4 PTS
This is the deep cut of the week. St. Ivany has four assists in his last two games since being picked up on waivers from Winnipeg, and is rostered in basically zero leagues. Washington hosts Minnesota on Sunday. He’s a pure hot-hand play in deep formats, but four points in two games deserves attention.
6. Tristan Luneau | D | Anaheim Ducks | 3% Rostered
Last 3 GP | 2G | 3A | 5 PTS
Luneau is getting it done on offense, with five points in three games, and he’s still available in almost every league. The Ducks host Ottawa on Sunday. If you need blue-line scoring, he’s a smart and nearly free Sunday option.
7. Troy Stecher | D | Toronto Maple Leafs | 1% Rostered
Last 4 GP | 2G | 2A | 4 PTS
Stecher isn’t known for his offense, but he has four points in his last four games, including two goals. He’s a deep-league stream for Toronto’s trip to Vancouver on Saturday. Don’t expect this pace to hold, but he’s worth a look for one game while he’s hot.
8. Drew Doughty | D | Los Angeles Kings | 5% Rostered
Last 2 GP | 1G | 5A | 6 PTS
Old man Doughty has turned back the clock, with six points in his last two games. The Kings host Buffalo on Saturday. Managers have stopped trusting him, which is why he’s only 5% rostered, but the veteran can still move the puck. He’s a strong Saturday stream.
Back-to-Back Adds
Edmonton and Ottawa each play twice this weekend. That’s two chances at points for the price of one roster spot.
1. Ryan Nugent-Hopkins | F | Edmonton Oilers | 63% Rostered
Last 4 GP | 1G | 4A | 5 PTS
RNH has five points in four games and gets a two-game road swing through New York, visiting the Islanders on Saturday and the Rangers on Sunday. Steady production plus two games is a winning streaming formula. If he’s on your wire, he’s the top weekend add.
2. Dylan Cozens | F | Ottawa Senators | 48% Rostered
Last 3 GP | 3G | 2A | 5 PTS
Cozens is scoring, with three goals in his last three games, and the Senators head to California for a back-to-back in San Jose on Saturday and Anaheim on Sunday. Two games and a hot stick make him one of the best streaming bets of the weekend.
Goalies
1. Edmonton Oilers | Tristan Jarry (32% Rostered) & Matt Tomkins (0% Rostered)
@ NYI (Sat) | @ NYR (Sun)
With back-to-back games, expect Edmonton to split the starts. Jarry is the better bet and the more proven goalie, so he’s the one to grab if you’re streaming. Tomkins is strictly a deep-league dart throw. Check the confirmed starters before you lock them in.
2. Ottawa Senators | Jonas Johansson (4% Rostered) & Samuel Ersson (4% Rostered)
@ SJ (Sat) | @ ANA (Sun)
Ottawa’s tandem should also split this weekend, with each goalie likely getting one start. Both are nearly free, so the move is to wait for the confirmed starter each day and stream whoever gets the nod. Neither is a long-term hold, but one start can still help.
Bottom line: Nugent-Hopkins and Cozens are the top weekend adds thanks to their two-game schedules. Benson, Kyrou, and Roslovic are the safest single-game streams, and Luneau and Doughty are cheap blue-line options with real upside.
